Welcome to the 2016 MidSchoolMath National Conference!

Session scheduling is limited to registered attendees - all attendees should receive schedule access via email by Jan. 4 or within two business days of registering. Click on the "More Information" link for detailed directions on accessing SCHED and signing up for concurrent sessions.

Programming begins each morning at 8:15 am sharp, ending at 4:30 pm on Friday, followed by a social hour from 5:00 - 6:30 pm; and ends at 4:15 pm on Saturday.

Ariel joined Capital City in August 2012. She holds a MAT in Secondary Math Education from American University and a B.A. in Mathematics from Goucher College.

She is a Master Teacher with Math for America in DC and is trained in Development Designs, whose “approach supports high academic achievement for middle-level students by integrating a social-emotional approach that meets their needs and academic instruction that truly engages them.” In 2016, she received funding from Fund for Teachers to participate in the International Congress of Mathematics in Hamburg, Germany.

Her hobbies include reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family.
