Welcome to the 2016 MidSchoolMath National Conference!

Session scheduling is limited to registered attendees - all attendees should receive schedule access via email by Jan. 4 or within two business days of registering. Click on the "More Information" link for detailed directions on accessing SCHED and signing up for concurrent sessions.

Programming begins each morning at 8:15 am sharp, ending at 4:30 pm on Friday, followed by a social hour from 5:00 - 6:30 pm; and ends at 4:15 pm on Saturday.

History Teacher
Daniel is in his 7th year of teaching at Liberal West Middle School in Liberal Kansas. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Political Science from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. He also has a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. He currently teaches two sections of 7th Grade Pre-Algebra which is classified as an Honors Class and then teaches one section of Math 7 which is the on grade level class. This year he is teaching Teen Leadership and an AVID Elective class. It is important for Daniel to use innovative teaching techniques in order to make sure the students are learning in class. He is constantly searching for different ways of teaching which lead him to the Flipped method of instruction about three years ago. Since then he has applied the Flipped Instruction method of instruction for all of his classes.
